Suggested Supplies -
These supplies will be used each year - only replace when necessary.
1 Hardback 3-ring metal binder (1 1/2") with 25 sheets of paper in NOTES
1 Set of dividers labeled: (1) HOMEWORK (2) VOCABULARY(3) NOTES (4) MATH/LOGIC (5) JOURNAL (6) THINKING
1 Set of sharpened colored pencils (at least 12)
1 Yellow highlighter and 1 permanent marker
1 Zippered pencil bag with 3 sharpened #2 pencils
1 Ruler (standard and metric)
1 DVD RW (1.4 GB/Go 30 min) with full name marked on side label
1 Glue stick
1 Pair scissors (Fiskars)
The following donations help to keep our room supplied:
5th Grade......A box of tissues and a roll of paper towels
4th Grade......Ziplock bags (we use all sizes)
3rd Grade......Package of Glue Sticks
2nd Grade......New blank DVD Re Recordable (DVD-RW) - 1.4 GB/Go 30 min. for classroom taping
1st Grade...... Antibacterial Instant Hand Sanitizer or soft soap.

Homework Policy
Gifted class is only one day per week and homework is a very important part of extending the learning experience you begin in class. Your weekly gifted homework usually includes: (1) review of class notes; (2) a unit assignment; and (3) a math assignment. The printed assignment is handed out in class each week and should be clipped into the homework section of your notebook before you leave class.
If you are absent, it is your responsiblity to come get your assignments before the next gifted class and to also turn in the assignments that were due when you were absent!
