Believe it or not, Mrs. Collins got her start in chorus here at SHMS in 1980! After that, she went on to graduate from Countryside High School, the University of Southern Mississippi (B.M.) and Southeastern Louisiana University (M.M.). She is certified by the National Board of Professional Teaching Standards, and was honored in 2010 as a finalist for Pinellas Outstanding Educator and in 2009 as Pinellas Music Eductors' Association Secondary Music Educator of the Year. Mrs. Collins is an active teacher, conductor, and performer in our area and throughout the state. |

Ms. Salmon was born in Chicago, lived in Wisconsin, earned her degree in music at the University of Iowa, and has been teaching music in Pinellas County Schools for 27 years. In those years, she has taught in over 30 schools in multiple musical disciplines. Ms. Salmon is also a Registered Music Therapist. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, sports, and gaming. |
