Our health curriculum is divided into the following three strands:

Health Literacy:
You are expected to comprehend concepts related to health promotion and disease prevention, and to demonstrate the ability to access valid health information and health-promoting products and services.   

Responsible Health Behavior:
You are expected to demonstrate the ability to practice health-enhancing behaviors and reduce health risks; analyze the influence of culture, media, technology, and other factors upon health; and demonstrate the ability to use effective interpersonal communication skills that enhance health.  

Advocate and Promote Healthy Living:
You are expected to demonstrate the ability to use goal-setting and decision-making skills that enhance health, and to advocate for personal, family, and community health.
