Another opportunity on TenMarks for points and understanding! The 10 questions must be completed by midnight, 05/06/12.
Quiz Grade for Fcatexplorer usage: Regular usage of fcatexplorer provides an avenue to enhance understanding, grades, and probability of passing the end-of-course(eoc) assessment.There are about 330 problems. You will receive 1 point for every 3 problems completed (up to 50 points or 150 problems) per grading period for the next 2 grading periods.
Pearson OnlineCheck your online Pearson to do for extra credit assignments.
Revised Homework Policy: Acceptable homework on the due date merits 12/12 points. Unless an absence is excused, late homework will no longer be accepted for credit with exception of hw1 from grading period 4.
Computer Use:During the next semester, I have the occasional use of a netbook lab. Any student who chooses to abuse this opportunity will earn consequences aligned to district, school, and classroom guidelines. If you have struggled in math, this might be the answer. I am willing to try just about anything to assist you in achieving mastery but you must be actively involved in your learning process.
Tardy: Being tardy to class on a regular basis is just flat out rude to both teacher and fellow classmates. The policy will be strictly adhered to this semester. A few of my students may need to review the guidelines which are posted in my classroom.
Online OpportunitiesThis week, we'll look at all the online resources attached to my website. Even when you are absent, these sites make keeping up with the class a realistic goal.
Binder Clean Out: Clean out your binder but do not throw anything away until you have confirmed your grades on portal.
Cheating policy: No communication either verbal or non-verbal is permitted during testing. Such communication will result in a zero on the assignment/assessment.
Passes: No more than 3 passes in any grading period unless a parent/guardian contacts guidance with a request to honor another arrangement
