| | Student Transportation Safety Survey | It's time for the Pinellas County Student Transportation Safety Survey. Parents are invited to report conditions that may endanger the safety of students as they travel to and from school. Each year, hundreds of pedestrian and vehicular improvements have been implemented as a result of this process.

Off-site Safety Issues (non-school bus) - choose one of the following -

Hard copy - pick up a copy of the form in the school office
Phone - call 547-7286 with the same information as requested on the written form.
The school district will document and forward the information to the appropriate jurisdiction and/or agency. A copy of the jurisdiction's response is sent to the school principal and the person who filed the report.

Welcome back to Sutherland Elementary 2011-2012 school year. Once again it is time to begin another successful and exciting school year. As the District celebrates its 100th anniversary, Sutherland Elementary is celebrating 25 years of excellence holding the promise of learning that will open many doors for our students. I am proud and honored to serve as assistant principal. We want our students, parents, community, and staff to work together because we know that together everyone achieves more.
We will be providing many wonderful opportunities for our entire school community to come together in support of our students. We must continue to help each of them build successful futures by fostering individual determination and strive for excellence. Let’s make this an exciting, safe and outstanding school year for all!
