Welcome to Sunset Hills. We are truly a community school. Our staff is an experienced group of caring professionals who go above and beyond to continually improve education for all of our students. We are committed to building strong relationships with parents and the community. We are proud of our students' academic success as well as their commitment to helping others. We are fortunate to have outstanding involved parents as well as community and business partners who help our school in many ways. At Sunset Hills we are building a tradition of academic excellence through innovative programs and a dedication to helping our students thrive and learn in a positive and safe atmosphere. I have been in and out of classrooms on a daily basis during the first months of school. During my visits, it has been truly gratifying to see how quickly everyone has settled into routines and gotten down to the business of learning. The children are actively engaged in conversations that demonstrate their understanding of concepts. Students are utilizing technology daily and the teachers continue to create a caring and nurturing environment. All of these components ensure the success of Sunset Hills’ students.
