About St. Petersburg High School International Baccalaureate (IB) The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program is a challenging two-year curriculum, which takes place in the 11th and 12th grades. It leads to a qualification that is widely recognized by the world’s leading universities.
The St. Petersburg High Pre-IB Program (PIB) prepares 9th- and 10th-grade students for the rigorous IB Diploma Program. Students accepted into the PIB must successfully complete all Pre-IB courses and achieve a 2.75 cumulative, unweighted grade point average at the end of 10th grade to be eligible to enter the IB Diploma Program.

Our Mission The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO)aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
To this end the IBO works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programs of international education and rigorous assessment.
These programs encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
