VISION The Library Media/Technology Center is an essential part of the educational program at Paul B. Stephens School. It is a resource center for teachers and students which supports and enhances teaching and learning in order to impact student learning.
MISSION The Library Media/Technology Center provides a welcoming environment where students, staff and parents can access information and materials that support the curriculum and focus on personal interests. The Center offers programs, activities and lessons that promote literature appreciation and information skills for life long learning.
The Library Media/Technology Center Program, with close collaboration and involvement of classroom teachers, encourages and assists reading, listening, communication and technology skills through regularly scheduled circulation times and additional class, small group and/or individual reading and instructional times that are flexibly scheduled. Emphasis is placed on the appreciation and enjoyment of literature and the motivation of reading for pleasure, as well as, for information.

| The Library Media/Technology Center offers resources in print, audio-visual and digital formats that are available for all developmental levels, as well as, all learning styles and modalities, through the use of assistive technology devices and adaptive equipment and software. |
