Skyview PreK Program
The Pre-K Disabilities Program offers a variety of program models and options for children from age 3 through age 5 who have been identified with developmental delay. The program model is determined at the child's eligibility meeting based on the individual child's needs.

Two Busy Classrooms
The PreK program is designed to meet the needs of students who have mild to moderate delays in cognitive, language, social/emotional, and/or motor development. The students require some support in the manner of verbal and physical prompts, models, repeated lessons, and guided practice but the program's goal is to move toward less prompting and to more independent functioning. Curriculum is adapted to provide repetition for mastery of skills. Emphasis is placed on familiar environmental information and development of self-care and hygiene skills.
Skyview serves students who are identified as having mild impairments in development of cognitive, language, motor, and/or social/emotional skills. In addition to exceptional students, the class also serves typical four year olds who meet the requirements for the Voluntary Pre-K program. The goals of the blended program are to better prepare the students for kindergarten while providing an opportunity for inclusion with typical peers to the ESE student.
