Students are to be in their classrooms by the start of their school day (8:35a.m.), or they are considered tardy and must go to the Office for a pass. Breakfast is served until 8:20 a.m. daily students eating school breakfast must arrive before this time daily.
Arrival and Dismissal Procedures Arrival, not before 8:05 a.m. Last bell rings at 8:35 a.m. Dismissal is at 2:50 p.m. (Wednesday release 1:35 p.m.)
Student drop off/pick up Car circle for drop off/pick up located off of 70th Avenue North. When using the car circle, you must remain in your car. VFW parking lot located east of the campus is for parking and then walking on to campus to pick up your child. Dropping off and picking up without leaving your car is not allowed. First Baptist Church's parking lot can be used to park your car and then walk across Park Blvd. with your child For the safety of your child, no drop off/pick up is allowed in the parking lot off of Park Blvd., at the Bus Circle or Verizon parking lot at any time.
Parking Parking is available in front of the Administration Building and near the portables off of 70th Avenue. (These areas are not to be used during drop off/pick up) For after school and night events, the PE field will be available, however this is not an option during school hours. Rainy Days Please note that if rain is extremely heavy and/or lightning is present, we will keep our children in the building until conditions improve. Please make sure that your child knows what to do on a rainy day. Arrangements should be made before the school day begins. Walkers and Bike Riders All bike riders and walkers should follow the direction of the crossing guard on their way to and from school. No child should exit campus on the 70th Avenue
Attendance Policy Written notice is required whenever a child is absent from school separate from their agenda book. Should you anticipate an absence for family reasons, please notify the principal in advance. The following are acceptable reasons for absence: (1) illness of the student (2) major illness in the immediate family of the student (3) death in the immediate family of the student (4) duration of a religious holiday of the specific faith of a student. For additional information please refer to your Student Code of Conduct.
Campus Visitation All Visitors are required to stop in the school office You must bring some form of state I.D. (i.e.: drivers license or I.D. card), to sign in through our Raptor system. You will then receive a visitors pass to visit any location on campus.
Student Sign Out If the need arises for you to get your son/daughter out of school at any time during the regular school day, you must come to the office and sign him/her out. The office staff will then call the teacher and have the student come to the office prepared to leave school. ONLY PEOPLE LISTED ON THE CLINIC CARD WILL BE ALLOWED TO REMOVE STUDENTS FROM SCHOOL.
Lost Library Book/Textbook Procedures Parents and students have full responsibility for the textbooks issued to them. Any student who loses or damages a textbook or library book is financially responsible for the book. Please help your child choose a special place to put his/her textbook and/or library books when they are not being used. Full payment must be made for lost/damaged textbooks or library books.

Parent Conference Policy In order to ensure the success of each student, it is the policy of PSCB that each teacher conducts a total of at least 1 conference with the parent/guardian of each of their students. During this time, the academic, social and behavioral progress of the student will be discussed. Conferences are held at the school. Each classroom teacher has a planning period in which to conduct meetings, conferences, and plan for instruction. Conferences can be held at that time or before or after school as agreed upon by both the parent/guardian and the teacher.
Student Dress Code PCSB has established policy related to student dress which ensures the each student is dressed for success.
Appropriate All shirts, tops and dresses shall have sleeves and cover shoulders and midriff. Pants that are the appropriate size and fitted at the waist. Safe and appropriate footwear. I.e.: tennis shoes, casual closed shoes, sandals with back straps.
Inappropriate Sleeveless shirts, tops and dresses. Inappropriate slogans on clothing Midriff tops Bandanas Cutoff pants or pants with holes. Pants that expose midriff. Heelys/Roller skate shoes, flip flops, bedroom slippers
