PINELLAS PARK HIGH SCHOOL   Home of Patriot Pride

SCHOOL PROFILE DEMOGRAPHICS

Our diverse population of approximately 2,300 students is comprised of 70.3% Caucasians, 12.7% African-Americans, 9.5% Hispanics, 5.9% Asians, .2% American Indian, and 1.4% Other. The student attendance rate is 92.7%. Approximately 80% of our students are eligible to ride a school bus from locations throughout the county. Eligible students at Pinellas Park High School can participate in the government-sponsored free and reduced lunch program. As of January, 2005, 959 students were participating in this program. This means over forty percent of the student population was eligible for the program.

FACULTY DEMOGRAPHICS
The faculty, of which 32% have master's degrees, consists of 127 Causcasians, 8 African-Americans and 1 Hispanic. All faculty members are certified in their field and the combined instructional experience of the staff is 2117 years.
