Congratulations Graduates!!
2012 words Congratulations, Class of 2012!!


HELLO SENIORS!

- GRAD FEES: They are now $95. Seniors cannot walk on graduation day at Tropicana Field without paying their grad fees. After April 30th, there will be an extra charge of $15 for shipping, as cap and gowns will have to be shipped directly to the student’s house.


We are collecting photos for the senior slide show. Please donate candid pics of you and your friends. The drop box is on the front counter of the library. You can bring them on a CD or a flash drive that will be returned to you.


- SENIOR BREAKFAST: It will be on Wednesday, May 23rd at BanquetMasters in Pinellas Park. Tickets are $15 on sale until Thursday, May 17th in E-3 during lunches. Seniors must provide their own transportation and must return to school after for graduation assembly.


- MANDATORY ASSEMBLY: Immediately after senior breakfast, around 10:30 am, there will be a mandatory senior assembly in the Auditorium. Seniors who attend breakfast will come back to school. Seniors who did not attend breakfast will be called from class on the intercom. Important graduation information will be provided during the assembly, it will be the last assembly before graduation.


2012 happy grads GRADUATION INFORMATION !
THE COUNTDOWN HAS BEGUN!
The Class of 2012 will hold its graduation ceremony at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg on June 7th at 3 p.m.

Parking is $10, there is no limit to how many guests seniors can bring. Seniors need to be there no later than 2 pm. More information provided during senior assembly on May 23rd.




Seniors will take their last 2 exams early to allow time to prepare for the ceremony on June 7th.

WARNING!! Watch those grades and credits!


It is not true that you will still be allowed to walk if you are ½ credit short or only have a 1.9 GPA.
You MUST have met all of the requirements for graduation before you walk.
If you are taking classes off-campus or online, please verify that your credits are posted to your records BEFORE school ends!

Also, make sure you have covered ALL financial obligations -- lost textbooks, lost library books or overdue fines, athletics fees, fundraisers, etc. If you owe money to PPHS, your diploma will be held until the funds are covered. You will receive a bookkeeper's notice instead of your diploma on graduation day.

Seniors, this school year will be your costliest one yet. Please begin saving your money now for the items listed below. All costs are estimated and not all items are required.

Senior T-shirt ---- $15

Senior Pictures ---- $200 - $400

Yearbook ---- $65 - $75

Homecoming Dance ---- $25 (plus clothes, dinner, football game, etc.)

Graduation Fees (cap/gown, etc.) ---- $75 - $85

Senior Breakfast ---- $15

Prom ---- $65/ticket (plus clothes, dinner, etc.)

Grad Bash ---- $100

Also, if you participate in extra-curricular activities, there may be costs involved with those as well.

This is just to give you an idea of how much money you need to save!!
