Morning News Show Working in the TV studio for the morning news is a class and privilege for all students who are interested in TV production. First students must fill out applications for this class. They must have high standards in school and acceptable behavior. When they get accepted to the class they must respect others and the equipment in the studio. They must have responsibility for the jobs they are assigned to. We change jobs frequently so everyone has an opportunity to learn the jobs of TV productions. |

Student Council is a body of student officers, representatives, and alternates. This is an extracurricular activity where students get involved and help with their school and community in events. The officers have meetings once a week and the body has meetings once a month, with the officers holding the meetings. Mrs. McAllister, the advisor, is a huge help to the Student Council. He is always there to help them, and just listen to their ideas. All the Student Council Officers have jobs. A president, who holds the meetings, a vice-president, who helps the president, a secretary, who records the meetings and takes care of written things, a treasurer, who handles the money, and a historian, who records what happens in Student Council. The representatives help the officers and make up Student Council. They all work together to help PHMS and our community.
