8th Grade
Life is a grove…So pick it!
This is the motto of Oak Grove Middle School’s 8th grade team, and it is one we believe in. The last year of middle school is a time when students are beginning to go out into the “grove of life” and realize that success is there for the picking.
We have a fantastic team of caring teachers who encourage our students to reach out and pick success. By using best classroom practices, having high expectations for student achievement, and sponsoring extracurricular activities, our teachers go above and beyond to ensure our 8th graders have a year they will never forget.
As our 8th graders journey through the grove, they will encounter many exciting things waiting to be picked. Rigorous academics, sports, clubs, dances, 8th grade field trips and graduation are all there for the taking. We hope all of our students will get involved and take advantage of these great activities.
We look forward to an awesome year and to helping our students pick success for life.
