Family Involvement

Mt. Vernon's Family Involvement Committee and PTA work together to conduct monthly family nights. Dinner is provided at the cost of $1.00. After dinner PTA holds a brief meeting and families participate in a fun, interactive workshop. Childcare is provided for children younger than kindergarten age. Mt. Vernon's PTA donates door prizes and Title 1 gives a free book to every child who attends.
