We have an active Adopt-A-Class program. Most of our classes are adopted each school year. The cost to adopt a class is $150.00. Our goal is to have all classes adopted. Listed below is our wonderful business partners. |

Interstate Studios was the company we used this school year for our school pictures. They provide the school with free film developing and school pictures of the faculty here at Mt. Vernon Elementary. They adopted one of our classes this school year. |

The McDonald's located at 2315 Tyrone Blvd. Saint Petersburg, provides Happy Meals for our SMILE (Students Most Improved Learn and Excel) students each month at no cost. Each teacher selects a student each month to attend the SMILE luncheon with the principal. |

| Sunrise Bowl |
Sunrise Bowl - on 9th St. N. in St. Petersburg has provided bowling parties each grading period for our students who are on the Principal's List. In order for students to be on the Principal's List they must achieve all A's on their report cards. |
