The Media Center has approximately 7,500 books, 25 magazines, a daily newspaper subscription, a computer lab with 30 computers and a wide variety of teacher materials. Teachers can sign up to bring their entire class or students can visit individually. Students must have a pass from a teacher to enter during the school day.

The Media Center is open before school beginning at 9:25 AM and after school until 4:15 PM Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, the library closes at 4:05 PM. The Media Center is also open during lunches most of the time so that students can visit then as well. On occasion, the Media Center may be closed for special events or testing. This will be announced on the morning announcements.

Students may check out two books for two weeks at a time. Students may use the computers for school related work, but to use the Internet an Acceptable Use Agreement must be on file. If you are not sure if you turned yours in, see the Media Specialist and she will check for you.

Teachers may check out an unlimited number of books and videos that must be returned at the end of each semester.


Laminating for teachers is done every Wednesday. You may drop off any needed materials at any time. The laminated materials will be delivered to your room by Wednesday afternoon each week.
