Welcome to Clearview Avenue Elementary School’s web page. My name is Karen Russell and I am the Principal of this wonderful school. I am so excited about this year, with so many fabulous things happening at our school. Please be sure to check out the rest of our web site for other news.
Let me tell you a little about myself. I am a native to St. Petersburg and have worked for the Pinellas County Schools since 1980. I was a classroom and physical education teacher at Shore Acres Elementary and a classroom teacher as well as the assistant principal at Azalea Elementary. I bring that experience to work with the wonderful staff at Clearview in providing the best educational experience for your child.
Clearview is a community of life long learners, serving over 400 students from kindergarten to fifth grade. We are a Title I and Reading First School. The Clearview Avenue Elementary community includes teachers, students, support staff, and parents. We invite all parents to get involved at Clearview through PTA, School Advisory Council (SAC), mentoring, tutoring, and a wide assortment of other volunteer opportunities. Parents are a vital part of our community of learners. Come by anytime, sign in and get involved.
