Ms. Allen has been employed by Pinellas County Schools for the past 26 years. Her initial teaching assignment began in 1983 at Largo High School, where she taught Physical Education. From there, she moved to teach at Tarpon High, her alma mater. After a year’s leave to secure her Master’s Degree, Ms. Allen returned to teaching at the middle school level.
Her educational credentials include an Associate Degree from St. Petersburg Junior College, a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Florida, and a Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of South Florida.
A Pinellas County native, Ms. Allen brings to Carwise MS a strong, diverse career which includes teaching physical education and coaching basketball, softball, volleyball and track, as well as spearheading very successful SIP (school improvement plan) committees.
