Thank you for a wonderful year. I can’t believe how fast the school year has gone!. I am very proud of the work our teachers have done this year. You will not find teachers who are more committed to their students and highest student achievement than the teachers at Brooker Creek! We have accomplished great things this year. We were one of the top scoring schools in Pinellas County on State assessments. I am looking forward to equally great results on the FCAT from all of our third through fifth grade students on Reading, Math and Science .
Thank you for your support again this year. The involvement and support of our parents are an important factor in the success of our students and our school. I hope you all have a fun and safe summer, and I look forward to welcoming you back next year.
Please visit our Brooker Creek website throughout the summer. We have worked very hard to create a Summer Learning link which has many educational tools for all grade levels such as: Smiley Face Math, Destination Reading and Math, FCAT Explorer and the 2012/2013 Battle of the Book titles. Please check with your child’s teacher to get the appropriate passwords for entry into the sites.
Meet the Teacher
The 2012-2013 Meet the Teacher will be held Friday, August 17th. If you have a child entering kindergarten, please attend between 10:00-11:00 a.m. Students in first through fifth grade will attend between 2:00-3:00 p.m.
The first day of school begins August 20th. We are looking forward to another AWESOME year! Please encourage your child to read for fun, pleasure and to stretch their reading “muscles”.
