An Introduction |
| Azalea Middle School's Response to Intervention for Behavior (RtI:B), better known as Black Knight Chivalry (BKC), is used to manage student behavior. Our school-wide Guidelines for Success (GFS) promote a safe and orderly campus. Throughout the day, students that demonstrate positive behavior by complying with our GFS may receive BKC Bucks. Earning these bucks provide our students with the opportunity to purchase items from the BK Mart and gain admission to special events. |

Attention Signal: "May I have your attention please." |
| The adult will say, "May I have your attention please," while at the same time swinging their right arm in an arching motion (from 9:00 to 12:00 on a clock face). Then, the adult will hold their hand in the 12:00 position. This prompts each student to stop talking, look at you, and raise his/her own hand-until all students are quiet and looking at the adult with their hands raised. |
