Feb. 9-16 - Acceptance Period for Magnet and Fundamental Schools
As the weather gets cooler, please be sure to send your child with a sweatshirt, sweater, or jacket that is labeled with your child's LAST name. Many students leave their jackets at PE, art, music, or somewhere else on campus. If we have their last name we can easily deliver it to their classroom. If you have any uniforms or outerwear that your child(ren) have grown out of we would appreciate the donations so we can offer it to those who may need them.
The car lines continue to run smoothly and there is rarely a backup. So please use the car circle and NOT the bus circle or Gingerbread parking lot. We have had parents dropping their kids or parking at Gingerbread and running children into the Kindergarten area. If this continues we will have to close the Kindergarten doors and use only the car circle entrance.
We ask everyone to please use the crosswalk when picking up or dropping off your children. Cutting through the car or bus circle can be potentially dangerous.
If for some reason your child may be going home a different way then they usually do,you need to write a note in the planner. Please do not call the office as we cannot guarantee the message will get to your child in time for dismissal.
If your child reports to you he/she thinks they are being bullied, please report it as soon as possible. We want to know if there is a problem. The quickest way to accomplish this is to do it online. Here is the website address: bullying.pcsb.org. The information is sent to the district and then quickly sent to the school.
