Title I is a federally funded program available to schools with a high percentage of students eligible for free and reduced lunch. These funds are above and beyond the district funds given to schools and are to be used to enhance student achievement.
Our Title One Facilitator is Lisa Austin. We have 17 Title One teachers who teach small groups in grades kindergarten through fifth grades. The Title One program helps fund our school's Reading Club program. Every student is involved in the Reading Club program. Students spend an extra thirty minutes outside their reading block receiving reading interventions. Groups are formed based on student data and progress with the intervention. |
