Title I is a federally funded program available to schools with a high percentage of students eligible for free and reduced lunch. These funds are above and beyond the district funds given to schools and are to be used to enhance student achievement. Our Title I facilitator is Robert Ovalle. We have 12 Title I teachers who teach small groups in grades kindergarten through fifth grades. The Title I program helps fund our school's Reading Club program. Every student is involved in the Reading Club program. Students spend an extra 30 minutes outside their reading block receiving reading interventions or enrichment. Groups are formed based on student data and progress with the intervention.
