Bauder Elementary Music Department Bauder Elementary has many musical events and activities to offer your child. General music classes are offered to all students K-5 once a week for 40 minutes. Singing and playing instruments is what we do best!!! Please view the Essential Learnings by clicking onto the Pinellas County Performing Arts Website and then "curriculum" to see what specific musical skills and concepts your child is learning.
Chorus is available for all interested students in 4th and 5th grade. Chorus meets once a week during PE. We have several performances throughout the school year including Veteran's Day, Winter Concert, and Spring Concert. 5th grade chorus members interested in the Pinellas County 5th Grade Honors Chorus and World Drumming ensemble may audition in October.
Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd grades and chorus perform in a Winter Concert in December. Third grade and chorus performs in the Spring Concert in May. Please click the link for "Bauder Performances" to see dates and times.
String are classes available after or before school with Ms. Gill for interested 4th and 5th grade students. 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade drum clubs are available to students who fit criteria. Drum club meets with Mrs. Meier once a week during the school day.
Mrs. Wood is our intinerant music teacher who is at Bauder on Monday and Tuesday to teach general music classses.

New York Philharmonic Kids and Dallas Symphony Orchestra Kids are great learning sites with lots of fun games and information about composers, instruments, and much more!!
