Teachers' Note
Thank you for the time you took to come to the classroom to meet with us at open house. We have started the year off great, building classroom relationships. I look forward to incorporating family days as the year progresses.
I would like to start the year off with our "All About Me" project. Please send to school a box of items from home that are familiar to your child and/or items that you would like your child to be familiar with from home. We will be using these items as part of a common vocabulary word wall to help children share home activies and objects with their classmates and to help build common language.
Ten items would be great. Please feel free to email me or write a note with any questions you have. |

All About You
I would like to set up a time in the next few weeks to meet with you to discuss your classroom expectations for this year. Conference times will be Fridays from 7:45 to 8:15 or Wednesdays 1:35 to 2:05. Please let me know which day and time works best for you so that I can begin scheduling.
Pictures of special events or activities help your child share with the class. Please send pictures in on a zip drive (which I will return) or email pictures to ruthducey@tampabay.rr.com.
If you have not sent in your white T-shirts (2), please do so. We will be painting our first community shirt in the next few weeks.
