"Night of the Twisters"
While working through this webquest, the students will:
Read articles online and learn how to take notes on those atricles;
Discover the difference between a tornado WATCH and a tornado WARNING and between a severe thunderstorm watch and warning;
Tell what one should do if a warning is issued or threatening weather approaches;
List the 4 tornado-related environmental clues one should look for; and
Look at selected movie clips about tornadoes.

The WRITTEN PROJECT will be a short public service announcement on TORNADO SAFETY.
The TECHNOLOGY PROJECT will be a presentation of this announcement using photo story, power point or other selected medium.
