Can you use the READING STRATEGIES we just practiced? Let's find out. Take these TESTS on your own and make sure you do the "Butterfly Poetry." "The following practice tests will help familiarize you with the different types of questions found on the FCAT. For each practice test, a story is provided along with multiple choice, short response, and extended response questions. Read each story then answer the questions that follow. Immediate feedback is provided so you can assess your performance." Don't be disappointed because these are fourth grade tests. They still help us to practice our strategies, and they can still be challenging to you. REMEMBER: When you understand the strategies and know how to use them, you can apply them to reading more difficult material in all of your classes as well as on the FCAT test. |
