The DAYBOOK'S selected material will be from the works of Natalie Babbitt, Madeleine L'Engle, Roald Dahl, and Ruth Vinz. We will also explore the short story "Abuela Invents the Zero" from Judith Ortiz Cofer's book pictured on the left.

"To get the big picture," we will be reading about the sinking of THE TITANIC in 1912 from different perspectives.
Selections will come from THE TITANIC by Richard Wormser and from WE WERE THERE, TOO! YOUNG PEOPLE IN U.S. HISTORY by Phillip Hoose. JOHN THAYER'S STORY IS IN THIS BOOK.
