"All Summer in a Day" WEBQUEST "Fictional Scenario: My best friend, Danny, has asked me to have my students write short stories modeled after his favorite story, "All Summer in a Day." Danny has one request; he would like the authors (you) to be well-informed about both Bradbury's history and the topic of the story."

UNIT 3: Making Connections We'll learn more about five of the basic elements of a story: setting, character, point of view, story line and plot, and theme. The DAYBOOK'S selected material will be from the works of Natalie Babbitt, Madeleine L'Engle, Roald Dahl, and Ruth Vinz. We will also explore the short story "Abuela Invents the Zero" from Judith Ortiz Cofer's book pictured on the left. |
