Seminole High School Mission Statement
The Seminole High School community works to provide and maintain a safe, academic, and extracurricular environment by offering a diverse curriculum and activities program for students to grow intellectually, develop potential, and learn the types of success needed to lead successful and fulfilling lives. - 2002-2003

Dr. Stowers' Classes
As a teacher at Seminole High School I believe that each student in my class should: feel safe during class; feel a sense of inclusion in the class; have some fun during the course; believe what they are doing has a worthwhile purpose; give feedback regarding their success in completing the course goals; and within the constraints of the curriculum, be able to make choices that are important to them

Biology I Honors
This Biology Course is a general survey of our living world and the study of life. Biology is a course that provides students with an understanding of biological processes that are important to maintaining and improving the quality of life on earth.

Physics I Honors
The goal of this course is to: give students an understanding of the way physicists view the world; equip students with the knowledge and understanding of the principles of physics in order to predict the outcome of activities occuring in their environment; and equip students with the problem solving skills necessary to make informed decisions.
