On September 19, 2003 all of the Pre K ESE classes at Perkins Elementary were fortunate enough to visit the Florida Aquarium in Tampa. Thanks to the generosity and compassion of the aquarium's sponsored admissions program, our students were able to experience concepts and skills taught first hand! Everyone had a great time, learned a great deal and loved the variety of sea life offered. Thank you FL Aquarium for believing that education is important!
As you have read, this field trip was quite awhile ago and we have had many obstacles which hindered our ability to attend such wonderful venues. However, PreK is seeking donations/monetary support so we can once again resume these wonderful field trips.
