Take a Moment and Show Pride in Your Child! Each day your child has the opportunity to express himself/herself in our art center. Every month our theme changes, as well as the materials provided in the art center. Thus, enabling your child to experience different materials (media) to express themselves with. Some of their work is sent home the day it was created and other pieces are displayed on our bulletin boards, windows and walls. Eventually, these too shall be sent home but until then, you may view their work on this site! Every child takes great pride in their creations and you and I need to praise them for any of their efforts, no matter how big or small! So when your child shows you their work and you don't see the beauty or the purpose of it, don't judge it --LOVE IT! Hang it up and make a big deal about it so they will feel special and they will know that they are important in your life and that school is important, too! Please find a place to hang their work and change it periodically. Don't leave it in their back pack, show them you are proud of their accomplishments! Your child will thank you for this when they get older! :) Hope you enjoy the show! |
