Welcome to the 2011-12 school year! I trust you had a wonderful summer and are looking forward to a musically rewarding and fun school year. Please remember to get the proper items for our band/orchestra uniform as we will be taking band/orchestra photos on October 10th and 11th. Uniform requirements can be found in the handbook. Attention Jazzy Knights: we will continue to have Jazzy Knights practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:30am-9:25am. As I begin my 24th year of teaching instrumental music, I am just as eager to start as I was at the beginning of my first year of teaching! Also, I would like to welcome Dr. Andrew Tucker to Clearwater! Dr. Tucker is the new band director at Clearwater High School and I look forward to working with him as we continue to build a strong band/orchestra community in the Clearwater area. We have already started planning a couple of combined events – 10/21 Clearwater H.S. home football game with the Knight Band and our Winter Holiday Concert(7pm) for all bands/orchestra on December 8th (hopefully) at the new Clearwater H.S. auditorium. I am truly looking forward to working with many talented students and the exciting musical experiences we will create for the Oak Grove M.S. Music Department! Let’s have an awesome year of music at “The Grove”! Musically yours, Mr. Anthony Fuoco - Music Director
